The Beta for Divi Ajax Filter (Divi 5 version) is now live 🎉
Let’s start with a bang: Divi Ajax Filter is the first plugin in our suite ready for public beta on Divi 5.
This is a big one. Filters power everything from product listings to directories. If you’ve used Divi Machine or BodyCommerce, you know how foundational filtering is.
And now it’s faster, smarter, and more efficient than ever.
We’ve built in our new transient caching system, designed to supercharge performance on sites with large datasets.
Want in? If you have an active license, head to the Divi 5 hub to join the beta or click the button below.

Divi 5 is the Future, But Divi 4 Still Gets Love
Right now, 80% of our dev team is laser-focused on rebuilding, optimizing, and future-proofing our plugins for Divi 5.
Here’s what they’re tackling:
- Refactoring core plugin structures
- Building out our new settings framework
- Ensuring full Divi 5 compatibility
- Prepping for performance and usability improvements
The other 20%? They’re still going strong on Divi 4, releasing updates and features that matter.
Recent highlights include:
Divi BodyCommerce

- Support for product videos in Woo galleries
- Improved speed by reducing bloat when code is not needed
- Compatibility with the ACF to Custom DB Tables plugin

We’re also hard at work improving our documentation, making it easier for you to find answers and build faster.
A Smarter, Sleeker Settings Experience
We’ve been rebuilding how you interact with our plugins, and the result is a brand-new settings system built for Divi 5.
Here’s what’s new:
- Search settings and docs without leaving the plugin
Need help or trying to find a setting fast? Now you can search through settings and our documentation right inside the plugin interface. - Dark Mode Support
If you’re a night owl (or just have good taste), you’ll love the sleek new dark mode support baked right into the settings UI. - Smarter Dropdowns with Search
Have a setting with a long list of categories or options? Just type to filter them instantly. - Infrastructure Complete, Settings Underway
The foundation is built. We’re now actively rolling out settings across all our Divi 5-compatible plugins.

The infrastructure is already built, and we’re actively rolling it out across all our Divi 5-compatible plugins later this year. This new settings experience will not be included in the initial Divi 5 beta versions of our plugins, but rest assured, it’s on the way.
If you’ve ever gotten lost hunting for a setting, this new experience will feel like a breath of fresh air.
Blocks Ajax Filter: Our First Gutenberg Plugin
Time for the twist: while we’ve been quietly reworking things for Divi 5, we’ve also been building for something bigger. Our next-gen plugins are being designed to work outside Divi, starting with Gutenberg compatibility.
Yep, soon you’ll be able to use Divi Engine plugins in the Block Editor, even if you don’t have Divi installed. More on this in a future dev letter…
Why are we doing this?
Because your projects deserve flexibility. Maybe your next site uses Divi. Maybe it doesn’t. Either way, we’ve got your back. This also means a lot of behind-the-scenes reengineering is happening. That might make things feel a little slower on the outside, but inside the engine room, it’s chaos, in the best way.
So what’s next?
Here’s a quick snapshot of what’s coming:
- Divi Ajax Filter for Divi 5 is in public beta 👉 test it now
- Divi Machine and BodyCommerce are next in line for Divi 5 upgrades
- Continuous updates and new features for Divi 4 plugins
- Blocks Ajax Filter for Gutenberg is coming soon
We’re moving fast, and your feedback is fueling our progress. Bug reports, feature requests, spicy takes, we welcome it all.
